Given ratio of base and height

= 1:2

Let us assume base and height like this

base = X

height=2X

Area of triangle= 1/2×base× height

According to question,

1/2×x×2x=49sq.cm

x^2=49sq.cm

x=7 sq.cm

Base = 7 sq.cm (x)

Height=14 sq.cm(2x)

Hola mate:☺As u asked for the question here is the answer ;
As in ∆triangle we know

Area=1/2×base×height.

So we have ratio of base n height and area so we can put it in formula discussed above:

So let:
Base =Bhv
N height=2Bhv

Formula;

49=1/2×bhv×2bhv
49=Bhv²
Bhv=+-7

So now put it in bhv

base=bhv=7 cms
Height=2bhv=7×2=14cms.
