The ratio of boys and girls is 7:5. If the no. Of boys is 10 more than girls, find the number of boys in class also find the total no. of students

let the no. of students be x
boys = 7x
girls = 5x
7x = 5x + 10
7x - 5x = 10
2x = 10
x = 10/2
x = 5
therefore, boys = 7x = 35 boys
girls = 5x = 25 girls
total no. of students = 35 + 25 = 60 students
