The ratio of boys to girls in a class is 2:3. There are 30 students in a class. How many more girls than boys ate there

Given, Ratio of boys to girls is 2 : 3. Let the number of boys be 2a and number of girls be 3a. There are 3a - 2a girls more than boys, so number of girls( extra ) is 3a - 2a = a = 6( from above ).
