Let their ages be 7x and 3x.
According to the question,
7x×3x=756
21x^2=756
x^2=756÷21
x=√36
x=6
Son's present age = 3x = 3×6=18
Father's present age =7x=7×6=42
After 6 years,
Son's age = 18+6=24
Father's age = 42+6=48.
