So 2x = Rs1520
or x = Rs 760
So the income will be 11x =11⨯760 = Rs 8360
As Rs 8360 = expenditure + Rs1520
So expenditure = Rs 8360 - Rs1520 = Rs 6840
Hence the expenditure of the family is Rs 6840
