let their income be 4x and 3x

let their expenditure be 3y and 2y

income - exp = saving

so, 4x - 3y = 600

3x - 2y = 600

on solving

8x - 6y = 1200

- 9x + 6y = 1800

x = 600

y = 600

income of a = 4×600= 2400

income of b = 3×600 = 1800
