Here is your solutions

Given :-

Ratio of their incomes is 9:7 and expenditure is 4:3 .

let their incomes be 9xand 3y

Expenditures be 7x and 3y

first person savings:-

9x-4y=2000......................(1)

second person saving :-

savings=7x-3y=2000.....................(2)

from 1and 2 equations we get

x=2000 and y=4000

income of first person=18000

income of second person=14000

Hope it helps you

Hey there!
________________________↓

\bold{Solution:-}

Let the common ratio of their incomes be x ,
so their income now becomes 9x and 7x.

and let the common ratio of their. savings be y
so their income now becomes 4y and 3y

According to question:-

Savings of both are ₹2000 per month

so , saving of first person = >

9x-4y=2000....................1)

and saving of second person =>

7x-3y=2000. ...............2)

Multiplying 1) by 3 and 2) by 4 we get,

27x-12y=6000. .............3)

28x-12y=8000. ............. 4)

Subtracting 3)from 4) we get,

x=₹2000 and y=₹7000

hence ,

Monthly income of first person =9x=9×2000=₹18000

Monthly income of second person=7x=7×2000=₹14000

Thanks
