Give: 9:7 and 4:3

: 9x-4y= 200

: 7x-3y= 200

: Multiply the 1st equation by -3, and equation by 4, we get

: -27x + 12y= 600

: 28x - 12y=800
There have opposite sign that's why we add the both equation.

:. -27x + 12y= 600
+ 28x - 12y. =800
: x=200

: 9×200=1800
similarly
: 7×200=1400

Therefore the income of one person is 1800.
And second person income is 1400.
