Heya!
---------

=======================================================

✴Let the Length of the Rectangle be 3x cm

✴Let the Breadth of the Rectangle be x cm

=> Perimeter = 36 cm < Given >

♦Perimeter of a Rectangle = 2 × ( L + B )

Therefore ,
---------------

2 × ( 3x + x ) = 36

=> 4x = 18

=> x = 18/4

=> x = 4.5 cm

✴Length of Rectangle = 3 × 4.5 = 13.5 cm

✴Breadth of Rectangle = x = 4.5 cm

==========================================================

redphotographiesco: but isnt 4x= 18
DevilDoll12: so I have written that only
redphotographiesco: i mean 4x=36
DevilDoll12: no
DevilDoll12: 2 is also there
redphotographiesco: ohh okk
redphotographiesco: thanx
DevilDoll12: so 2 × ( 4x ) = 36
DevilDoll12: Hope u got it !
DevilDoll12: ^^"

lenght and breadth = 3:1
let lenght = 3x
and breadth = 1x
perimeter = 36
but peremeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
so 36 = 2(3x+1x)
8x = 36
x = 36/8
x = 4.5
so b = 4.5
then l = 3×4.5 = 13.5
