the ratio of length and breadth of a rectangle is3:1 and it's perimeter is 36cm find the length and breadth of rectangle​

the ratio=3:1

3x and 1x

4x=36

=9

3x=3×9=27

x=9

27+9=36

therefore,length and breadth are 27 and 9

But I think the Perimeter should be 72

Because 27 and 9 both are not divisible by 2 and perimeter =2 ×(l+b)
