Let the H.c.f of those two numbers be x,

Then, the length will be 5x, and the breadth will be 4x,

Now ,
Generally perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b),

Given that perimeter = 270m,

Substitute length and breadth here,
=> 2(5x + 4x ) = 270m,
=> 2(9x) = 270m,
=> 18x = 270m
=> x = 15 m,

Now length = 5x = 5*15 = 75m,
breadth = 4x = 4*15 = 60m,

So the length and breadth of the rectangle are 75m and 60m respectively !
