⏬ ANSWER ⏬

Let the length of the school ground be 5x

and the width of the school ground be 2x

Now, Acc. to the quesn.

=> 2x = 40

=> x = 40/2

=> x = 20

Therefore, Length of the school ground = 5×20

= 100 metres

  \huge\boxed{ \mathfrak \red{Solution:-}}

Let the common ratio be x

 \boxed{ \mathfrak \red{length = 5x}}

 \boxed { \mathfrak \green{breadth = 2x}}

Now, according to the question

 \boxed{  \bold\pink{2x = 40}}

 \boxed{ \bold \pink{ \implies \: x =  \frac{40}{2} }}

 \bold \pink{ \implies \: x =  20 }

Now,

 \boxed{  \bold\orange{breadth = 2 \times 20 = 40\: m}}

 \boxed{ \bold \green{length = 5 \times 20 = 100\: m}}
