Question :

The ratio of length ,breadth and height of a cuboid is 5:3:2. If its volume is 3750 cm , find its length breadth and height

Solution :

Ratio of the dimensions = 5:3:2

Let them in the form of x ,

5x : 3x :2x

Now ,

According to the question ,

Volume = 3750 cm³

5x×3x×2x = 3750

30x³ = 3750

x³ = 3750/30 = 125 cm³

x = 5 cm

Dimensions =

5x = 5×5 = 25 cm

3x = 3×5 = 15 cm

2 x = 2×5 = 10 cm

Answer:

Explanation:

Volume of a cuboid =Length*Breadth*Height

Let length be 5xcm, breadth 3xcm, height 2xcm respectively.

So,

5x*3x*2x=3750

=>30x^3=3750

=>x^3=125

=>x=5

So, length=5*5=25cm

breadth=3*5=15cm

height=2*5=10cm
