Answer:

Explanation:

The ratio of the 3 given samples is

1 : 3, 3 : 5 & 11 : 5

The minimum quantities of the given three samples can be taken as 4 litres, 8 litres and 16 litres.

LCM of 4, 8 & 16 is 16

Which means that a minimum of 16 litres of each sample is needed as they are to be mixed equally.

So 16 litres of 1st sample will have 4 litres milk and 12 litres water.

16 litres of 2nd sample will have 6 litres milk and 10 litres water.

And 16 litres of 3rd sample will have 11 litres milk and 5 litres water.

If these 3 solutions are mixed we get a solution of 48 litres having 21 litres of milk and 27 litres of water.

That is 21:27 or 7:9
