Let the number of peaches be x.

so, 4:2::x:12 = 2:1::x:12 = 2×12 = x × 1 = the value of x is 24

So the number of peaches is 24

The ratio of peaches to pears is 4:2

Let no of peaches=x

In ratio

Peaches to pears

x:12

Joining both

4:2=x:12

Multiplying 12 on other side

(4÷2)(12)=x

24=x

So no of peaches=24
