given that,
ratio=4/5
ratio of area=
 \frac{\pi {4}^{2} }{\pi {5}^{2} }
(π will be cancelled)
=16/25

Ratio of radii of two circles=r/R
4:5=r/R

Now ratio of their areas will be=πr sq/πRsquare
=r/R
( As π is common and gets cancelled)
=4 square:5 square =16/25(given)
