stretched by equal force. Find the ratio of stresses produced in them.

$\frac{stress \: 1}{stress2} = \frac{ \frac{dl}{l1} }{ \frac{dl}{l2} } = \frac{l2}{l1} = \frac{2}{1}$

dl were cancelled as they were stretched by the same amount...
