let their present age be x the the ratio of their ages will be 2x:3x after six years their ratio of thier ages will become 3x:4x
than A.T.Q 2x+6=3x
=x =6

Let the ages are 2x and 3x

6 years later, age will be ( 2x + 6 ) and ( 3x + 6 )

Ratio = 3 : 4

 = >  \frac{2x + 6}{3x + 6}  =  \frac{3}{4}  \\  \\  \\  => 4(2x + 6) = 3(3x + 6)

=> 8x + 24 = 9x + 18

=> 24 - 18 = 9x - 8x

=> 6 = x

Hence, Ages are :
2( x ) = 2( 6 ) = 12 years
3( x ) = 3( 6 ) = 18 years
