Let the big triangle pqr and the small triangle is aqr both on the same base QR.

Height of pqr is equal to 20 CM .

Let the height of aqr be h cm

Area of pqr is equal to 1/2*20*QR=5x^2

This implies that QR =x^2/2

Area of aqr is equal to 1\2*h*QR=4x^2

This implies that QR=8x^2/h

from the above two points we can conclude that

x^2/2=8x^2/h

This implies that h=16cm
