The ratio of the base to the hieght of a triangle is7:4.the area of triangle is 504 sq m.what is the measure of the diagonal of the square whose side is equal to the base of the triangle

hence;

base=7x   ,   height=4x

area=504

so,

504=\frac{1}{2} X 7x X4x

36=x^2

x=6

diagonal =\sqrt{2}*Side of  square

side of square is equal to base of the triangle , which is 7*6=42.

then diagonal is \sqrt{2}*42
