THE RATIO OF THE HEIGHT OF A TOWER AND THE LENGTH OF ITS SHADOW ON THE GROUND IS √3:1. WHAT IS THE ANGLE OF ELEVATION OF THE SUN.

Heyy...

Height of the tower / length of its shadow = √3÷1

Let the ratio be tan Ф

∴ tanФ = √3÷1

So now we know that tan 60 ° = √3

Hence angle of elevation is 60°
