height of tower= opposite side of the triangle

shadow of the tower= adjacent side of the triangle

In a triangle,

tan thetha= opposite side/ adjacent side

= root3/1 (given)

tan thetha =

 \sqrt{3}

thetha=60 (from the table)

~ hence the angle of elevation of the sun is 60 degrees.
