=> 1/2 × S × 16 = 960

so, the sum of the parallel sides = 120cm

Let the sides be in ratio = 5x : 3x where x is their common factor.

So 5x + 3x = 120cm

=> 8x = 120

=> x = 15 cm

Hence the length of the sides are -

3x = 3×15 = 45cm and,

5x = 5×15 = 75cm
