The ratio of the measure of supplementary angle to the complementary angle of a given angle is it is 8:3 .what will be the ratio to the angle to its supplementary angle?

∴ 540 - 3x = 720 - 8x

∴ - 3x + 8x = 720 - 540

∴ 5x = 180

∴ x = 36

According to the question,

∴ 36 : (180 - x)

∴ 36 : 144

∴ Ans. =  1 : 4
