HEY MATE,

Answer:

Ratio is 2:3 so let the no. of boy be 2x and no. of girls be 3x:

⇒ 2x+3x=45

⇒ 5x=45

⇒ x=9

Putting the value of x in the ratio of boys and girls:

⇒2x=2×9=18 boys

⇒3x=3×9=27 girls

∴Number of boys and girls in the class of 45 students = 18 & 27 respectively.

Boys = 18

Girls = 27
