Step-by-step explanation:

Out of 1200 students

boys : girls = 7: 5

boys + girls = 1200

7 : 5 = 1200

1200 ÷ (7+5) = 100

boys = 700

girls = 500

New boys admitted is 20

therefore 700 +20 : girls = 4 : 3

Total girls with admitted in school is 540

New admitted girls = 540 - 500 = 40

40 new girls are admitted in school
