Let the present age of Anjali be 2x & Ashu be 3x
5 Years Hence,
Thier Ages Will
(2x+5) & (3x+5)
And Thier Ratio (ATQ)
2x+5/3x+5=3/4
After Cross multiplying
x=5
Then Present Age Of Anjali Is 2x = 2*5 = 10 years.
& Present Age Of Ashu = 3x =3*5= 15 years.
5 Years Hence,
Thier Ages Will
(2x+5) & (3x+5)
And Thier Ratio (ATQ)
2x+5/3x+5=3/4
After Cross multiplying

Then the ratio of their present ages will be 2x:3x
After 5 yrs the ratio of their ages would be (2x+5):(3x+5) = 3:4
On cross multiplying,
4(2x+5)=3(3x+5)
⇒ x = 5
hence present ages of anjali = 2*5 = 10
anshu = 3*5 = 15
