Then,

a/b=1/2

2a=b ------->1

Now,

a-5/b-5 = 1/3

On solving this equation we get,

3a=b + 10

3a=2a+10

a=10

b=20

The ratio of their ages after 5 years are 10+5/20+5

=15/25

=3/5

==3:5
