let present ages of sisters be x,y
given x/y=1/2
⇒2x=y
ages of sisters before 5 years=x-5,y-5
x-5/y-5=1/3
⇒3(x-5)=y-5
⇒3x-15=2x-5
⇒x=10
∴y=20
hence present ages of sisters is 10,20
ages of sisters 10 years later are 20,30
ratio of ages of sisters 10 years later is 20/30
i.e 2/3 or 2:3
