☺☺ HERE IS YOUR ANSWER
__________________________________
radius of one circle (r1) = 2x
radius of other circle (r2) = 3x
area of circle/area of other circle=πr1^2/πr2^2
= (2x)^2/(3x)^2
=4x^2/9x^2
=4/9
= 4:9
answer is 4:9.

Given
radio of radii of two circles = 2: 3
To find
ratio of their area
Solution
Let the common multiple be x
so radius of circle = 2x
radius of other circle = 3x
as we know that
area of circle = pi × r^2
ratio of area = pi × ( R 1 )^2 / pi × ( R 2 )^2
pi get cancelled so
ratio of area of circle = ( R 1 )^2 / ( R 2 )^2
= ( 2x )^2 / ( 3x )^2
= 4x^2 / 9x^2
= 4/9
= 4 : 9
radio of radii of two circles = 2: 3
To find
ratio of their area
Solution
Let the common multiple be x
so radius of circle = 2x
radius of other circle = 3x
as we know that
area of circle = pi × r^2
ratio of area = pi × ( R 1 )^2 / pi × ( R 2 )^2
pi get cancelled so
ratio of area of circle = ( R 1 )^2 / ( R 2 )^2
= ( 2x )^2 / ( 3x )^2
= 4x^2 / 9x^2
= 4/9
= 4 : 9
