the ratio of the radio of two wheels is 3 : 4. what is the ratio of their circumference?

We know that,by definition π the ratio of circumference to diameter.

π=circumference /diamEter

Or 2π=circumference /Radius

Now ,for circle 1

2π= C1/R1

And ,for circle 2

2π= C2/R2

From above two relations

C1/R1=C2/R2

Hence C1/C2=R1/R2= 3/4
