volume of the cylinder is = π r²h = 294 π    -- given
r and h are in the ratio = 7 : 6
that means if r is 7x, then h is 6x
putting these values in the volume formula -
π into (7x)² into 6x = 294 π
π into 49 x² into 6x  = 294 π
294 x³ = 294
x³ = 294/294 = 1
so, x = 1
⇒ r = 7 and h = 6
so diameter is 7 into 2 = 14
