Answer:

New salary of Female = 156 Rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the question,

Ratio of the salary of a male and female is = 6:5

Now,

Salary of the male increases by 20%.

Also,

Salary of the female increases by 4%.

Now,

The new salary of the male = 216 Rs.

Initial Salary of Male = 6x

Initial Salary of Female = 5x

On the increase of 20% in male's salary we get,

6x+\frac{20}{100}\times 6x=216\\ 6x+1.2x=216\\7.2x=216\\x=30

So, the Initial Salary of the Female will be = 5x = 5 x 30 = 150

Now.

There is an increase of 4% in female's salary.

So,

New salary of female = 150+\frac{4}{100}\times150 =  156

Therefore, the new salary of Female is 156 Rs.
