the ratio of three numbers are in the ratio of 1:2:6 their average 30.which is the smallest number

Given ,

ratio of 3 no.s=> 1:2:6

Average of these three no.s=> 30

Main solution :

Let the numbers be x , 2x , 6x

According to Question ,

 \frac{x + 2x + 6x}{3} = 30

Now , solving for x using transposition :

x + 2x + 6x = 90

9x = 90

x = 10

The no.are :- 10 , 20 , & 60.

The smallest number = 10 ( Answer )
