W.K.T, In a parallelogram, if 2 adjacent sides have lengths ‘l units’ and ‘b units’[considering l is the longer side]then the perimeter = 2(l+b)
We also know that, 2:3= b:l [Because l>b]
Let the constant be ‘k’, then,
b=2k, l=3k
Then perimeter = 2(2k+3k) = 10k = 50cm
=> k = 5cm
=> b=20cm , l=30cm
When the altitude corresponds to the longer side (l) then area = altitude*shorter side
=20*10
=200cm^2
