let one side of parallelogram = x.

another side of parallelogram = 3x

given perimeter = 72cm

opposite sides of parallelogram are equal..

solve. .

x+3x+x+3x = 72

8x =72

x = 72/8

x = 9

other side = 3 * 9 = 27

so the sides are 9cm , 27cm

hence solved..
