Answer:

32cm and 40 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two sides be 4x and 5x

Perimeter = 72cm

Therefore, 4x+5x=72cm

=9x=72

x=72/9=8

Therefore 4x=4*8=32

5x=5*8=40

Therefore 2 adjacent sides = 32cm and 40 cm

Answer:

let the sides of the parallelogram be 4x and 5x and we know that opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal hence the four sides of parallelogram will be 4x , 5x, 4x,5x .

now the perimeter is 72cm [given]

therefore, 4x + 5x + 4x + 5x=72 which will give

                 18x = 72 on solving this we will get

                   x = 35/9

now our sides were 4x= 4 * 35/9 = 140/9 or 15.56

and 5x= 5 * 35/9 = 175/9 or 19.44 .

Hence the sides of parallelogram are 15.56cm , 19.44 cm, 15.56cm and 19.44cm. I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU.
