The ratio of two angles of a triangle is 3:4. The third angles measures 40° . then find the measure of the greatest interior angle of the triangle .​

=> 3x + 4x + 40 = 180

=> 7x = 180 - 40

=> 7x = 140

=> x = 140 / 7

=> x = 20

Now

one angle => 3x = 3 × 20 = 60

other angle => 4x = 4× 20 = 80

and last is 40

80 > 60 > 40

so 80 is largest
