∴ numbers are 3x and 4x

HCF = 4

To Find,

LCM = ?

Solution,

3x = x × 3

4x = x × 4

HCF = product of common terms with lowest power

==> HCF = x

==> x = 4

Now,

We know

==> HCF × LCM = product of numbers

numbers = 3x = 3×4 = 12

==> 4x = 4×4 = 16

==> 4 × LCM = 12 × 16

==> LCM = 12×16/4

==> LCM = 16×3

==> LCM = 48
