Given

Ratio of two numbers is 3:5

If numbers are increased by 5 then ratio will be 2:3

To Find

We have to find the numbers

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Let the number be 5x &3x

According to the question:

If it is increased by 5 their ratio becomes 2:3

=>(5x+5):(3x+5)=2:3

=>2(5x+5)=3(3x+5)

=>10x+10=9x+15

=>10x-9x=15-10

=>x=5

Now, finding the numbers

We let the first number 3x So, 5x=5×5=25

first number is 25

Second number =3x=3×5=15

∴First number is 25

second number is 15

Check

Ratio of two numbers is 3:5 =>15:25=3:5

If they are increased by 5 their ratio becomes 2:3

=>15+5=20

=>25+5=30

Ratio =20:30=2:3
