ratio = 3:4

⟹ let take the ratio be in x

the sum is 420

4x = 420

⟹ 7x = 420

Let the common ratio be x

Now, according to the question

3x+4x= 420

⟹7x= 420

 \bold{⟹x =  \frac{420}{7} }

⟹x= 60

 \boxed { \bold \red{3x = 3 \times 60 = 180}}

 \boxed { \bold \pink{4x = 4 \times 60 = 240}}

Verification:

3x+4x= 420

180+240= 420

420 = 420

L.H.S= R.H.S

4x is bigger because it is 240 > 180
