The ratio of two sides of a parallelogram is 3 : 5 and its perimeter is 160 m. Find the dimensions of the parallelogram.​

Let the sides be in the ratio of 3x : 5x.

Perimeter of Parallelogram = 2( l +b)

Now putting values in the formula we get,

160 = 2( 3x + 5x)

3x + 5x = 80

8x = 80

Hence, X= 10

The sides will be - 30m & 50m
