Step-by-step explanation:

let the sides be 4x & 3x

now, we know that,

perimeter of a parallelogram = 2 (a+b)

56 = 2 (4x+3x)

28 = 7x

4 = x

therefore, one side will be 4x =4 (4) =16cm

and the other one will be 3x = 3 (4) = 12cm

let the lengths of two sides of a parallelogram be 4x and 3x respectively .

=> perimeter = 2(4x + 3x)cm

= 8x + 6x

= 14x cm

therefore , 14x = 56

  \: x =  \: \:  \frac{56}{14}

one side = (4 x 4)cm = 16cm

other side = (3 x 4)cm = 12cm

hope it will help you .
