the ratio of zinc and copper in alloy is 7:9 if the weight of copper in the alloy is 11.7 kg find the weight o f zinc in it

copper alloy = 11.7 kg

==> 9x = 11.7

==> x = 11.7/9

==> x = 1.3

zinc = 7x

==>  7(1.3)

==> 9.1

amswer = 9.1
