The ratio two numbers is 3:5 if 10 added to the five times smaller number the ratio becomes 5:1 find the numbers

let the no.s be 3x and 5x
Smaller no.-3x
Larger no.-5x
5 times=15x +10
So,15x+10+5x=5x+1x
=20x + 10 = 6x
20x -6x=10
14x=10
x=10/14= 5/7
So smaller no.= 5/7×3=15/7
Larger no.=5/7×5=25/7
