the ratios of heights and the radii of two cylinder are 1:2 and 2:4 respectively. then find ratio of their volumes

let h and H are the heights of given, cylinders also , r. and R are radii of given cylinders.

given, a/c to question,

r/R = 2/4 and h/H = 1/2

now,
volume of 1st cylinder/volume of 2nd cylinder =πr^2h/πR^2H

=(r/R)^2 (h/H)

=(2/4)^2 (1/2)

=1/8
