focal length=3/2=1.5m

with formula we know that,

1/v+1/u=1/f

1/v=1/1.5-1/-5

1/v=-5-1.5/-7.5

1/v=-6.5/-7.5

V= 1.15m

we must find magnification , m=-v/u

=-1.15/-5

=0.23

the image is formed on the opposite side of the object ,so it will be virtual and erect and 0.23is very small where the object is placed beyond C.
