why drawings are not recorded in the profit and loss appropriation account. drawings is not an expense or loss or profit or gain, therefore it can not be shown in P and L App. a/c. It is the amount withdrawn by partners from firm for personal use and it is recorded in capital a/c of partners at the end of the year.
