Answer:

The number of tickets sold in USA is 10000

The number of tickets sold in Korea is 10000

Explanation:

Total number of tickets = 20,000

Let the number of tickets sold in USA be x

And the tickets sold in Korea be 20,000 – x

Total amount collected = 3,50,000$

Each ticket in USA = 15$

Each ticket in Korea = 20$

15x + 20(20000 – x) = 350000

15x + 400000 – 20x = 350000

-5x = 350000 – 400000

-5x = -50000

x = -50000/-5

x = 50000/5

x = 10000

Hence, number of tickets sold in USA is 10000

If the number of tickets sold in Korean is 20000 – x

                                                                     = 20000 – 10000

                                                                     = 10000

Therefore, the number of tickets sold in Korea is 10000
