Given : The recommended storage temperature for a certain type of squash is 10°C to 13ºC

To Find :  inequality represents the possible storage temperatures F (in degrees Fahrenheit) of the squash.

Solution:

10  ≤ C  ≤  13

C =   (5/9)  (F – 32).

=> 10  ≤  (5/9)  (F – 32)    ≤  13

Multiply both sides by 9

=> 90 ≤  5 (F – 32)    ≤  117

Divide both sides by 5

=> 18   ≤    (F – 32)    ≤  23.4

Add 32 both sides

=> 50 ≤  F   ≤  55.4

50 ≤  F   ≤  55.4 inequality represents the possible storage temperatures F (in degrees Fahrenheit) of the squash.
